Admittedly, works by Johann Amandus Winck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trompe l'oeils: Garlands of flowers hanging from ribbons on nails over feigned sculpted cartouches, above ledges with fruit, a squirrel and a monkey in May 2001 with an auction result of NLG 279,000.00 (€ 134,401.77).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.750,00 (€ 20.115,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Amandus Winck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trompe l'oeils: Garlands of flowers hanging from ribbons on nails over feigned sculpted cartouches, above ledges with fruit, a squirrel and a monkey im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 279.000,00 (€ 134.401,77).
