Admittedly, works by Johann Amandus Winck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trompe l'oeils: Garlands of flowers hanging from ribbons on nails over feigned sculpted cartouches, above ledges with fruit, a squirrel and a monkey in May 2001 with an auction result of NLG 279,000.00 (€ 134,401.77).
