Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Study of a thatched farm house by Johan Thomas Lundbye for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.40). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Thomas Lundbye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dänische Landschaft (Studie). in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 6,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Study of a thatched farm house von Johan Thomas Lundbye für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Thomas Lundbye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dänische Landschaft (Studie). im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.875,00.
