Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde, which included the work Dutch Rietdiep by Johan Dijkstra. The price achieved of EUR 13,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johan Dijkstra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Farms In A Groningen Landscape (Recto); A Portrait Of A Young Lady (Verso) in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 79,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch Rietdiep von Johan Dijkstra zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Dijkstra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Farms In A Groningen Landscape (Recto); A Portrait Of A Young Lady (Verso) im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 79.500,00.
