Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View On Noorderhogebrug, Groningen by Johan Dijkstra was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 12,000.00 – 16,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Johan Dijkstra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Farms In A Groningen Landscape (Recto); A Portrait Of A Young Lady (Verso) in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 79,500.00.

Die Arbeit View On Noorderhogebrug, Groningen von Johan Dijkstra kam im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 16.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
