Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life With Lilies by Johan Buning for EUR 438.00. This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Johan Buning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with a violin, a bottle, fruits and a book on a table in March 2002 with an auction result of EUR 2,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life With Lilies von Johan Buning für EUR 438,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Buning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with a violin, a bottle, fruits and a book on a table im März 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.350,00.
