Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Seated nude by Johan Buning was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2007. It achieved a price of EUR 576.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15 %. Admittedly, works by Johan Buning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with a violin, a bottle, fruits and a book on a table in March 2002 with an auction result of EUR 2,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Seated nude von Johan Buning kam im März 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 576,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Buning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with a violin, a bottle, fruits and a book on a table im März 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.350,00.
