Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dune Grass House, Truro, Massachusetts by Joel Meyerowitz was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,300.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joel Meyerowitz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cezanne'S Studio (Nine Objects) in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,239.27).
