In May 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Jayne Mansfield and Sophia Loren at Romanoff's, Beverly Hills by Joe Shere. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,075.00 (€ 4,572.90), 69% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joe Shere - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jayne Mansfield and Sophia Loren at Romanoff's in Beverly Hills, which sold at auction in April last year for USD 10,080.00 (€ 9,566.29).

Im Mai 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jayne Mansfield and Sophia Loren at Romanoff's, Beverly Hills von Joe Shere zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.075,00 (€ 4.572,90) und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Joe Shere mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jayne Mansfield and Sophia Loren at Romanoff's in Beverly Hills beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für USD 10.080,00 (€ 9.566,29) versteigert wurde.
