Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Filament I - 2014 by Joana Vasconcelos was sold in the Limited Edition auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2020. The price achieved of EUR 1,820.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joana Vasconcelos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Carmen Miranda in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 229,250.00 (€ 264,328.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Filament I - 2014 von Joana Vasconcelos wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Limited Edition bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.820,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joana Vasconcelos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Carmen Miranda im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 229.250,00 (€ 264.328,85).
