Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joana Vasconcelos could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Cibele, 2013 changed hands for GBP 14,000.00 (€ 15,639.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joana Vasconcelos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Carmen Miranda in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 229,250.00 (€ 264,328.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joana Vasconcelos konnte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Cibele, 2013 für GBP 14.000,00 (€ 15.639,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joana Vasconcelos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Carmen Miranda im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 229.250,00 (€ 264.328,85).
