Auction result well in line with expectations
The work SUOJATIE by Joan Cornellà was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in November last year. The price achieved of HKD 378,000.00 (€ 46,906.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joan Cornellà have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work CCTV (Orange) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 444,000.00 (€ 453,410.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit SUOJATIE von Joan Cornellà wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 378.000,00 (€ 46.906,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joan Cornellà auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit CCTV (Orange) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 444.000,00 (€ 453.410,87).
