The work Meeting At Infinity Pool, Parameswara & The Chinese Admiral by Jimmy Ong was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,179.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Jimmy Ong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Nelli'S Dowry was auctioned for HKD 223,500.00 (€ 18,419.23).
