A top price for Jim C. Norton - as previously expected
In October 2020 Christies in New York held the auction The Legend of the West: Iconic Works from the T. Boone Pickens Collection, which included the work Where Eagles Fly by Jim C. Norton. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,464.75) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Where Eagles Fly is the most expensive artwork by Jim C. Norton that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Legend of the West: Iconic Works from the T. Boone Pickens Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Where Eagles Fly von Jim C. Norton zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.464,75) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Where Eagles Fly das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jim C. Norton, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
