Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Buffalo War Bonnet by Jim C. Norton was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,650.00 (€ 7,215.62). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jim C. Norton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Where Eagles Fly, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,464.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Buffalo War Bonnet von Jim C. Norton kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.650,00 (€ 7.215,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jim C. Norton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Where Eagles Fly beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.464,75) versteigert wurde.
