In March 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, which included the work One For The Wall by Jim C. Norton. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,250.00 (€ 7,118.00), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jim C. Norton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Where Eagles Fly, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,464.75).

Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit One For The Wall von Jim C. Norton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 7.118,00) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jim C. Norton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Where Eagles Fly beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.464,75) versteigert wurde.
