Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moroccan napoli by Jilali Gharbaoui was sold in the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in December 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 50,923.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jilali Gharbaoui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in November this year for GBP 88,200.00 (€ 102,204.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Moroccan napoli von Jilali Gharbaoui wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 50.923,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jilali Gharbaoui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für GBP 88.200,00 (€ 102.204,62) versteigert wurde.
