The work Composition, 1968 by Jilali Gharbaoui was auctioned at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2021. It achieved a price of MAD 559,000.00 (€ 52,847.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jilali Gharbaoui; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition sold at auction in November this year with the realized price of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 102,204.62).

Die Arbeit Composition, 1968 von Jilali Gharbaoui kam im Dezember 2021 bei Artcurial in Marrakesch zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von MAD 559.000,00 (€ 52.847,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jilali Gharbaoui; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composition im November diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 102.204,62).
