Auction result well in line with expectations
The work THE FALL OF CHROMATIC SUNRISE by Jigger Cruz was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 18,278.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jigger Cruz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jazz In A Restless Landscape Of Silhouettes And Screeches in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 130,017.02).

Die Arbeit THE FALL OF CHROMATIC SUNRISE von Jigger Cruz kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 18.278,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jigger Cruz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jazz In A Restless Landscape Of Silhouettes And Screeches im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 130.017,02).
