This artwork by Jigger Cruz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale auction, the work Kiosky sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,804.06) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jigger Cruz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jazz In A Restless Landscape Of Silhouettes And Screeches in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 130,017.02).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jigger Cruz erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Kiosky für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.804,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jigger Cruz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jazz In A Restless Landscape Of Silhouettes And Screeches im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 130.017,02).
