Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Su Dongpo by Jiang Zhaohe was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,187.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Zhaohe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmony Of Strings in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,480,000.00 (€ 732,208.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Su Dongpo von Jiang Zhaohe wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 20.187,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Zhaohe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmony Of Strings im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.480.000,00 (€ 732.208,38).
