Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Old Man by Jiang Zhaohe was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 2,125,000.00 (€ 232,822.32). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jiang Zhaohe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harmony Of Strings, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 7,480,000.00 (€ 732,208.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Old Man von Jiang Zhaohe wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 2.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 2.125.000,00 (€ 232.822,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jiang Zhaohe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harmony Of Strings beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 7.480.000,00 (€ 732.208,38) versteigert wurde.
