Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintingsthe online sale, which included the work Portrait of a Scholar by Jiang Zhaohe. The price achieved of HKD 38,125.00 (€ 4,177.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Zhaohe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmony Of Strings in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,480,000.00 (€ 732,208.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Paintingsthe online sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a Scholar von Jiang Zhaohe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.125,00 (€ 4.177,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Zhaohe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmony Of Strings im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.480.000,00 (€ 732.208,38).
