This artwork by Jiang Zhaohe achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. In the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Old Man Sitting On A Chair sold for HKD 236,000.00 (€ 26,588.93) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Zhaohe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmony Of Strings in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,480,000.00 (€ 732,208.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Zhaohe erzielte im April 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Old Man Sitting On A Chair für HKD 236.000,00 (€ 26.588,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Zhaohe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmony Of Strings im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.480.000,00 (€ 732.208,38).
