The work Old Couple by Jiang Zhaohe was worth HKD 5,500,000.00 (€ 600,899.74) to a buyer in May 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 1,200,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jiang Zhaohe; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Harmony Of Strings sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of HKD 7,480,000.00 (€ 732,208.38).

Die Arbeit Old Couple von Jiang Zhaohe war einem Käufer im Mai 2018 HKD 5.500.000,00 (€ 600.899,74) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.200.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jiang Zhaohe; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Harmony Of Strings im April 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 7.480.000,00 (€ 732.208,38).
