Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Elderly Man by Jiang Zhaohe was worth HKD 2,000,000.00 (€ 211,031.97) to a buyer in April 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jiang Zhaohe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harmony Of Strings, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 7,480,000.00 (€ 732,208.38).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Elderly Man von Jiang Zhaohe war einem Käufer im April 2018 HKD 2.000.000,00 (€ 211.031,97) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Jiang Zhaohe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harmony Of Strings beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 7.480.000,00 (€ 732.208,38) versteigert wurde.
