Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Ink Landscape by Jiang Shijie was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2014. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,258.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Shijie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 104,258.12).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Ink Landscape von Jiang Shijie kam im März 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.258,47) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Shijie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 104.258,12).
