Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ladies in a Garden by Jiang Lian was sold in the Fine Asian Works of Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year. The price achieved of USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,054.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Lian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauties In Tang Poetry in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,073.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ladies in a Garden von Jiang Lian wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Asian Works of Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.152,00 (€ 1.054,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Lian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauties In Tang Poetry im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.073,06).
