Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jiang Jie achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Cedar and Chrysanthemums sold for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,842.52) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jiang Jie; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Flowers sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,434.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Jie erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Cedar and Chrysanthemums für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.842,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jiang Jie; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Flowers im Juli 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.434,52).
