Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower by Jiang Jie was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction at POLY in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,372.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jiang Jie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,434.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flower von Jiang Jie wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.372,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Jiang Jie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.434,52) versteigert wurde.
