This artwork by Jiang Guofang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work The Concubine And The Bird sold for HKD 980,000.00 (€ 97,561.35) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jiang Guofang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,280,000.00 (€ 841,354.60).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Guofang erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art wurde die Arbeit The Concubine And The Bird für HKD 980.000,00 (€ 97.561,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jiang Guofang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.280.000,00 (€ 841.354,60).
