Auction result well in line with expectations
The work PORTRAIT SERIES NO. 34 by Jiang Guofang was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,563.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Guofang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,280,000.00 (€ 841,354.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit PORTRAIT SERIES NO. 34 von Jiang Guofang wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.563,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Guofang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.280.000,00 (€ 841.354,60).
