Upper estimate price exceeded by 50 %.
The work Concubine In The Palace by Jiang Guofang was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. It achieved a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 28,468.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Guofang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,280,000.00 (€ 841,354.60).
