Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jiang Guofang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Modern Asian Art auction, the work Court Lady sold for HKD 2,840,000.00 (€ 328,220.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jiang Guofang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych), which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 7,280,000.00 (€ 841,354.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Guofang erzielte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Court Lady für HKD 2.840.000,00 (€ 328.220,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.000.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jiang Guofang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 7.280.000,00 (€ 841.354,60) versteigert wurde.
