Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Joven Junto Al Mar by Jesús Guerrero Galván. The price achieved of USD 28,000.00 (€ 17,994.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jesús Guerrero Galván have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Concepción in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 123,229.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Joven Junto Al Mar von Jesús Guerrero Galván zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 28.000,00 (€ 17.994,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jesús Guerrero Galván auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Concepción im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 123.229,85).
