Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jesús Guerrero Galván could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Paintings auction, the work Anunciación changed hands for USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,506.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jesús Guerrero Galván achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Concepción in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 123,229.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jesús Guerrero Galván konnte im November 2010 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Anunciación für USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.506,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jesús Guerrero Galván erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Concepción im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 123.229,85).
