Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Clouds by Jessica Rankin for USD 375.00 (€ 252.68). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jessica Rankin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Sides of Alive in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,195.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Clouds von Jessica Rankin für USD 375,00 (€ 252,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jessica Rankin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Sides of Alive im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.195,70).
