Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Sand Castle) by Jerry Uelsmann was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. The price achieved of USD 3,187.50 (€ 3,006.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jerry Uelsmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (floating trees) in April last year with an auction result of USD 17,640.00 (€ 16,741.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Sand Castle) von Jerry Uelsmann kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 3.006,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jerry Uelsmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (floating trees) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 16.741,01).
