Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Christian Dior by Jerry Schatzberg for EUR 437.50. This price was achieved in the auction Intérieurs at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jerry Schatzberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Bob Dylan 'Smoke'' in April 2014 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,277.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Christian Dior von Jerry Schatzberg für EUR 437,50 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Intérieurs bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jerry Schatzberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Bob Dylan 'Smoke'' im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 20.277,58).
