This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jerome Thompson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Duck Hunting, which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 54,000.00 (€ 44,484.72).
