The work Strong To The Finish (Colour Variant) by Jerkface was sold in the Contemporary Showcase: Kawaii Pop auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 40,320.00 (€ 4,262.14), 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jerkface achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homerbob Wave (Variant) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 122,237.12).

Die Arbeit Strong To The Finish (Colour Variant) von Jerkface wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Showcase: Kawaii Pop bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 40.320,00 (€ 4.262,14) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jerkface erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homerbob Wave (Variant) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 122.237,12).
