The work Dr. Suess’ Cat in the Hat by Jerkface was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in September last year. It achieved a price of HKD 201,600.00 (€ 26,232.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by Jerkface have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Homerbob Wave (Variant) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 122,237.12).

Die Arbeit Dr. Suess’ Cat in the Hat von Jerkface kam im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 201.600,00 (€ 26.232,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jerkface auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Homerbob Wave (Variant) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 122.237,12).
