Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jeram Patel was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,510.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeram Patel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Abstract), which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,176.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jeram Patel wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.510,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeram Patel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Abstract) beobachtet, die im September 2016 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.176,37) versteigert wurde.
