Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jeram Patel was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2019. The price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,039.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeram Patel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Abstract), which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,176.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jeram Patel kam im März 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.039,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeram Patel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Abstract) beobachtet, die im September 2016 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.176,37) versteigert wurde.
