The auction ended at the price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,710.45), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeram Patel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Abstract), which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,176.37).

Die Arbeit (I) Untitled (Yellow) (Ii) Untitled (Red) von Jeram Patel kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.710,45) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeram Patel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Abstract) beobachtet, die im September 2016 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.176,37) versteigert wurde.
