Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Kevin (in conversation) by Jenna Gribbon was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,640.00 (€ 38,145.30), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jenna Gribbon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Regarding Me Regarding You and Me in November this year with an auction result of USD 478,800.00 (€ 438,943.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Kevin (in conversation) von Jenna Gribbon wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.640,00 (€ 38.145,30) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jenna Gribbon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Regarding Me Regarding You and Me im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 478.800,00 (€ 438.943,89).
