Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hannah among friends by Jenna Gribbon was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 63,500.00 (€ 59,602.03). Admittedly, works by Jenna Gribbon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Regarding Me Regarding You and Me in November this year with an auction result of USD 478,800.00 (€ 438,943.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hannah among friends von Jenna Gribbon wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 63.500,00 (€ 59.602,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jenna Gribbon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Regarding Me Regarding You and Me im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 478.800,00 (€ 438.943,89).
