Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Jeff Elrod for GBP 13,860.00 (€ 15,390.35). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeff Elrod achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Echo Painting (B/W) in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 218,500.00 (€ 308,082.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jeff Elrod für GBP 13.860,00 (€ 15.390,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeff Elrod erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Echo Painting (B/W) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 218.500,00 (€ 308.082,26).
