Admittedly, works by Jean Xcéron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition 239A in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 88,315.82).

Die Arbeit Source No. 445 von Jean Xcéron kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.602,10) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Xcéron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition 239A im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 88.315,82).
