Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean Xcéron achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in May 2021. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Accord no. 336 sold for EUR 15,300.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Xcéron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition 239A in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 88,315.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Xcéron erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Greek Sale wurde die Arbeit Accord no. 336 für EUR 15.300,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Xcéron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition 239A im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 88.315,82).
