However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Robert Ango - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Margaret Of Cortona Finding The Body Of Her Lover, After Marco Benefial, which sold at auction in March 2018 for EUR 13,750.00.

Die Arbeit The Delphic Sibyl, After Michelangelo von Jean-Robert Ango kam im Juli 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.215,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Robert Ango mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Margaret Of Cortona Finding The Body Of Her Lover, After Marco Benefial beobachtet, die im März 2018 für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert wurde.
